Blog Party

There is a blog party, hosted by twins over at 5 Minutes For Mom.  If you would like to dive in and join the fun, head on over.  Oh, and there are prizes, I mean really, who doesn't like prizes right??

Ultimate Blog Party 2011

WELCOME
My name is Kay, I am a SAHM of 5 children ages 10yrs to 10months.  I choose to Homeschool my kids because it works for us as we move about the country CONSTANTLY!  My hubby is an ordained PCA Chaplain in the military, hence the moving constantly thing ;-)  I do enjoy a gathering of friends.  I married a man who would rather keep things small, maybe only a couple or one family at a time.  But I LOVE to pack the house out, listen to the insanity of a crowd... it just gets me all jazzed up.  A natural extrovert, that is me.  So this blog party is a huge WOOHOO for me!!

My blog is simply my outlet.  I like to encourage, I love to share my faith, and sometimes I just need to vent, you know??  I am fairly new to the blogging world and I am really enjoying getting to know new people, especially other HS mothers.  It sooths my spirit to read about other folks laughing at the same things I laugh at, cry about the same things I cry about, rejoice with others, and pray for others.  That is me in a short nutshell.  Also, I like to be my wacky self.... some folks even like it!!! So scary ;-)

Join the party, meet new friends!!  Come on along, there may even be some rockin' music, eh??

  4. Hiya! Thanks for stopping by my blog to party! I had so much fun with UBP last year that I had to do it again! And it helped me find your blog again.... although I am pretty sure I was here last week! I love that you homeschool as a military family.... I grew up as a CG kid and we moved every 6-12 months. 13 schools in 12 years and it was the most traumatic part about being transferred, let me tell you. Don't stop!!! Your kids will thank you! :)

  6. Lovely to meet you, Kay, through UBP. I love the descriptions of your life and how you blog. I am fairly new, too, and had know idea I would love it so much.

Thanks for your service as a family to our country. My husband considered the chaiplancy years ago, but went the church route instead.

    Fondly,
    Glenda

  12. It is very nice to "meet" you during the UBP11 party. I am hopping around the Christian blogs at the last minute. :)

We travel for my hubby's work too. He is a minister and provides churches with outreach training and seminars on the Bible for communities across the country. (We are actually in Canada right now!) I am doing preschool homeschool for my 3 year old and we will continue to do homeschool. We have fun.

I like connecting with other bloggers and HS moms too. I like all the great ideas that people post.

I hope you and your family have a very blessed weekend!
