Even when it rains!

It has been a long time since I have joined in with my friend Theresa and her Thankful Thursday. Not because I have not been thankful, but because I truly am busy.

~ Many of my readers know I am sitting with my left arm in a cast, furiously typing with one finger...with that in mind, I do wish to reflect on my blessings.

~First and foremost I am thankful for the love and support shown to my family during our crisis. For my sweet neighbor who kept my children overnight while I did some ER hopping and for my surgery. This scenario can be very scary for military families marooned away from family. Thank you Father for this generous lady. Please bless her for having your heart.
~We also received two weeks of meals between our church, hubby's unit, and the Chaplain corps. It was such a huge blessing. Thank you Lord for your provisions!

~I am very thankful for a husband who supports my going back to school to get my college degree, even on top of his full-time job and responsibilities.

~I am extremely thankful for my children who have had to step up and do so much with me being the "one armed bandit".

~And last but not least, I am extremely thankful that our new school computer has the dictation software already installed so that I can manage so much without the need to 'hunt and peck' one-handed.

  2. What a wonderful list! Isn't it amazing how God brings people into play in our lives exactly when we need them? As ones who live far away from family, we've come to really appreciate friends and neighbors.

I'm so glad you linked up today!

  3. What a awesome list, sure sounds like you have been really cared for. That is so wonderful, you are truly blessed. I am a military spouse too! Wonderful how somehow our husbands still find the time to support our endeavors. I plan to go back to school when mine retires. God bless.
