My frags are back

Mommy's Idea
My frags are back and you're ganna be in trouble, hey la, hey la, my frags are back.  Do you have fragments running around your brain that don't make a full posting? Hop in over to Half Past Kissin' Time and dump them in her yard ;-) She loves it, trust me!

Been a little bit since I did FF. Just so much going on, trying to get the lid put on this school year, preparing for a houseful all of May, and finishing a bit of college. I scored a B on my Life Science course, that was a true shocker!! I am enjoying my Lit class, but I knew I would. Hello, pouring into books, over analyzing every part of the writing... my cup of joe ;-)

We had another round of ER staples this past couple weeks. The 2yr old felt he was behind inthe race and so he fell into a dresser drawer during tussle time. Of course, it was late at night and the kids were all supposed to be in bed :-( To 'boost his numbers' the day after the staples were removed, he somehow got the wound to slightly open up again :-( I will spare you the pictures I sent out to family of this momentous occasion.

Heard around the house lately:

Josh, what are you doing?
Cleaning the pan out.
With what soap are you cleaning it?
(Pause)
No soap.
So you're really just running water over the pan?
Yep.

Monkey butt, monkey butt.
Noah Michael, we DO NOT say that ugly word!
We only say nice woowds?
Yes, only nice words. Do you know how to use nice words?
Uh huh, nice, nice, nice, nice...see yoos nice woowds!

Ah, my cousin's sense of humor
Hubby is out of town on business this weekend. Grr, why does he always get to fly to where there is Chic-fil-a???!!!

This morning I slept in, big mistake. When I finally got on my email, I had eBay invoices hitting left and right. Apparently my son got onto eBay and clicked several "buy it now" Lego mini-figs. His total for the morning was $77.49!!!!! Thankfully, the sellers have all been gracious. Just a reminder friends, DON'T SAVE PASSWORD INFORMATION, even though it is convenient. You may find yourself in a heap of trouble before the first cup of coffee hits your system :-(

The Nebraska Cornhuskers deserve a huge shout out!!! This past weekend they made a little boy's dream come true. He was handed the ball just after snap to run a 69 yard touchdown. The whole Husker team has adopted this young guy who is battling brain cancer. You can read all about Team Jack here. But this video of the run by little number 22 got me all choked up.

I walked into the kitchen the other day to find this. I had to laugh at first, but then got irritated. So THAT'S  where it has been disappearing to...

My son created this poem last week as he was learning about limericks. It was pretty cute and he was pretty proud of himself ;-)

That's all I have for today. I hope you all have a great weekend, and I hope to have some very cool pictures for you all next week :-)

  3. Fun fragments for sure! Ouch, staples in a little 2 year old. Drinking from the coffee pot, how funny. HE's learning the joys of caffeine at an early age. Happy weekend to you and thanks for stopping by.

Whew! I just gave thanks all my kids are in their twenties, now, and all I have to do is smile fondly at the memories of ER trips, etc. Sounds like you have a great, fun, bunch though. Enjoy!!
